Bella is a lovely chestnut 7yr old Welsh Cob mare by the late, great, Derwen Desert Express - sire of many champions over the past 20 years - and out of a traditionally bred Rhandir mare.  Excellent bloodlines therefore for anyone interested in breeding, she would also be a good prospect for showing in hand.
 
Bella was backed as a 4yr old and has been regularly ridden ever since, hacking, hunting, and taking part successfully in Bedford & District RC competitions.  She has beautiful paces - amazing showy trot, smooth long striding canter and gallop for her size (14.3hh).

 
* X Country - excellent in pairs
* Hacks out in small or large groups, but so far not keen on going solo
*Good to load/clip/worm/shoe
*Lovely stable manners
*Good to tack up/groom/plait
*Swims - last year enjoyed a dip in the North Sea!!
*Now jumping 2ft 6 - 2ft 9 courses of varying difficulties
