Nantgwinau Rosina

Rosina has always been special to us - not only as Ffarwel Haf's first foal, but also as the first Nantgwinau filly after 5 years of colts. We had to wait another 5 years before the next filly was born!

Her first foal by Derwen Desert Express was N Dafydd in 1997. He was sold to Maureen Bell in Essex as a potential driving horse - being black with 4 socks and blaze he should catch the eye at that job - has anyone see him? Since then Rosina has produced Samantha 1999 (in Oregon); Samson 2001 (Holland); Rebecca 2003 (Anglesey); and Rachel 2005; all by Derwen Desert Express. We have had such good results from this mating that there seems no good reason to change the formula, so Rosina will continue to visit Desert for the forseeable future. Watch this space !!
